"Creativity Stimulus Package"

I wanted to let you know about the 2009 Paper Temptress "Creativity Stimulus Package" (isn't that cute?) from Patricia:

"Due to the current economic situation PaperTemptress has decided to slash ALL prices 15% until the economy gets better!
2009 is the year of CHANGE especially changing your cardstock to POP TONES which offers the highest quality with vibrant colors created to deliver that pop factor. So to start your year off I am offering Pop Tones packages at 25% off thru the whole month of January.
" POP TONES cardstock "

Here is one of Pop Tone offering I mentioned really liking during my blogaversary: Hot Fudge! If you follow my blog, you know I use a LOT of brown, it's one of my favorite colors, looks great with anything, and SU!'s Chocolate Chip has always been the darkest brown I've used. Not anymore! I was amazed to see how "reddish" Chocloate Chip appear next to this rich, dark brown. I'll still use Chocolate Chip (think "Milk Chocolate"!), but this Hot Fudge is like Dark Chocolate, for chocolate lovers! (and I looove me some chocolate!!) :)

I have a sample coming up with this paper I'm putting the finishing touches on (think "COOKIES"!) ;), as well as more color comparisons for you (gotta show it with some PINK!) ;)

How about you? What's your favorite color pairing with brown and or/how do you take your chocolate: milk, semi, dark, bittersweet...?

OH! Could you do me a favor if you have a minute? (pretty please!) Scroll to the bottom and sign my guest book if you haaven't yet, I recognize your names when you stop in, but so many of you don't have blogger profiles, and I'd really love to put a face with the name and find out where you're from! :) Thanks in advance!

I love the dark chocolate, and when it has mint added to it, even better! I love the brown paper with almost any color, but I think pink and brown is a favorite for me! I usually just use nothing but SU cardstock, haven't really tried any other kind, but I am going to have to order the Gina K extra heavy white CS and give it a try, I have lots of wonderful things about it!

My favourite combo is dark chocolate and light pink. Great colours for House Mouse stamps. However, I also like to use an aqua shade with brown. This new paper looks tempting to buy!

Yum!!!! I'm also a fan of SU!'s Chocolate Chip...but in reality I'm a dark chocolate lover. The darker and richer the better in my book. I always have some Dove dark chocolate handy when I'm stamping.

Hi Melanie, I am from El Paso, TX. I love my hot chocolate sweet! My favorite brand of hot chocolate is one made using the "Abuelita" chocolate. You can even eat the chocolate like candy and it is delicious. I love pairing up my brown colors with pink shades. Looks like that new chocolate color will be great for making teddy bears. Have a great day!

I love the SU Chocolate Chip color, I tend to pair it with all sorts of colors - red and pinks, light to medium blue and minty green.

I like milk chocolate best to eat, although there are some candy that tastes soooo much better in dark.

Ghirardelli's hot cocoa mix is the best!

I like chocolate in any kind it comes in. Dark chocolate is probably my favorite but I truly love all kinds. I do love SU's chocolate chip especially paired with pink and light blue but Hot Chocolate looks yummy too. I think that it might look awesome with red for a Valentines card.

Frankly I just LOVE brown so I think everything goes with but my faves would have to be pink or blue.

As for my chocolate preferences - it would have to be milk chocolate!!

As for eating chocolate.... I am allergic to it and haven't eaten any in 30 years. I used to be a fan of Dark Chocolate and my husband loves it big time. I make chocolate chip cookies every few weeks for my family but I don't eat any of them.
I enjoy visiting with you , each posting seems like a visit. Thanks so much!

Brown is like black, you can hardly do any wrong with that color! I probably use blues with it the most, but then I have no daughters and I'm not a girly-girl. I love my chocolate dark! Yumm!

I am a milk choc lover but for my paper I go for any chocolate color with a nice hint of teal to off set. I have a hard time to stay away from putting them on something I created!

My favourite colour with brown is blue (something like Chocolate Chip and Tempting Turqouise). Brown with pink is a close second.

And the only kind of chocolate I like is milk chocolate! And thanks to that, I just had a mini-chocolate bar. Yum!

I didn't really think the SU Chocolate Chip was that great! Horrors to some, I am sure. Now, eating and making something paper-wise is two different things! I basically love chocolate but prefer milk chocolate to bittersweet but in paper - the darker the better. I guess I really have yet met a chocolate I didn't like - just varying degrees! I like aqua or turquoise and some teals with browns or certain pinks as well. Mint goes well too. But, then we have fall colors too. I don't have a blog but I sure enjoy reading them!

Thanks for all the fun stuff!

Chocolate! Who cares what kind it is as long as it's chocolate!! I like to use pink, cream or aqua with brown. I've used red with it too, if it's the right shade of red or brown. Love your blog.
