Hip Hop Mosaic

Here is a card I shared at our release party last week using my animals from "Hip Hop Accessories", I wanted to put it on the blog with a few more details (plus I've been getting feedback I haven't been sharing enough scenes with you lately, sorry about that!) . This is a TWO layer card, not including the giraffe and butterfly I popped up because the lines of the image intersected the grid. I went ahead and stamped everything over the grid though to get my placement, you will love how well this grid in "Inspiration Mosaic" grounds your different images (since your sets normally include both small and large images you will find places in this background suitable for all of them. ) I positioned the butterflies so the two pairs of animals seem to be looking up at them. Image are stamped on Pure Luxury White, card base is Barely Banana, and the "pink" layer" is actually just the white border around the black border of the image that I colored with a pink Copic and then ran my black marker along the outer edge, ta da! Hard to tell the difference, isn't it?

With this new set I am using far less CS and adhesive (not having to cut and apply so many mats, which also saves money and clean up!) and saving LOTS of time to add other small details I don't always have time to get to. The little "Enjoy the day" greeting is from the new Free with Three set "Tropical Windows", great for so many occasions!

Tomorrow we have a special blog hop coming up (I don't know if I'm allowed to say in advance what?!) and then I'll get to those matting pic I promised, just in time for when your sets start arriving! :)
happy Monday!! Enjoy the day!
