Button Wreath

Today's sample really shows off the new Gina K Holiday Companion buttons in all their splendor! I created a wreath using a scalloped circle Nestabilites die cut(Pure Luxury All Spruced Up) as a base with one of the circle framed greetings from the Stamp TV Kit Holiday Cheer in the middle(the tiny snowflake in the middle is covered with, another button, perfect size!). Then I used glue dots to anchor all my buttons around the circle, these are all from the holiday pack, you can see how many beautiful sizes, colors and shapes they come in and I still have a ton left in the pack! Stitched ribbon is also from the kit.
To make an easy and attractive mat for the wreath, I stamped my Hip to Be Square grid onto Pure Luxury White, then colored the border in green, and stamped a square from the set into the middle of each "panel" (eyeballing it), coloring just the corners that would show in red. Card base is Pure Luxury Fresh Asparagus.

If you wanted to, you could make this beautiful button wreath a detachable ornament with a greeting underneath framed on a circle mat. (Just a thought, because these buttons are too beautiful not to display every year!)
Thank you for visiting!
PS I did not use any thread on these, what you see on the buttons was drawn on with a white Inkssentials pen, a must-have crafting item! :)
