It's hard for me to believe that since I started illustrating and blogging two years ago I have already released 25 stamp sets with GinaK Designs (and written over 700 GinaK posts!!)On this first day of the new year, I am celebrating this huge milestone with the help of 25 designers, showcasing ALL my sets, starting with my very first set, "Just So Hippy", going in order all the way up to my most recent "Tech Talk"! I have been SO excited about this, a retrospective not only of my designs but so many ladies who guest designed or won contests with them, it will be such a wonderful stroll down "memory lane"! I have offered many different styles over the the past two years so it's gong to be really fun seeing them all together (There is candy plus a chance to join in our hop at the end of this post!)

I'm eager to get hopping but I had to share something so here is a quick peek of a new pop up template I have coming out next week, I created this little oven to go with one of my favorite sets from 2008, "Have a Cookie"! All the baking images you see here are from that stamp set!
DP is October Afternoon Report Card. I'll be back next week with the full card sample and instructions for assembling the oven, it's very similar to process for putting together my desk template, you are going to love using this template with that the cookie set to make your own little pop up kitchens! :)

I came into this a year late and I am still trying to complete my collection of MM stamps. It is so hard to choose a set as a favorite! I think it might have to be Wee Tee's with A Year of Flowers as a close second. Thanks for all you do to keep our creative juices flowing. Blessings in the New Year to you and your loved ones.

    ReplyDelete
  38. My favorite set is a toss up between Year of Flowers and Hand in Hand...both of which I've used for multiple cards. I couldn't pick a favorite project from your blog. I find that each release, you don't just stamp the images from your sets, you expand on their use by "seeing" more in them than the first look. By combining them and stretching beyond what others do, you inspire me to see more uses in my stamps.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I love all your sets but I particularly love the mosaic. It just lends itself toso many options! You are one talented girl!

    ReplyDelete
  40. WOW WOW! All your sets are fabulous!! If I have to pick one it would be A Year of FLowers. That is my go to floral set by far! Can't wait to see what else you have tucked up that creative sleeve of yours.

  41. I agree with others, its too hard to choose just one of your sets. They are all so versatile, but if I'm forced to choose one I will choose 'Year of flowers'. I love your designs in CardMaker magazine, especially the tulips. When I saw it I decided I was going to do that one for my Valentine cards, then I saw the designer and was pleasantly surprised. Keep up the great work for GinaK and will continue to review your blog every morning.

More diminuitive images, baby-themed sentiments larger than the actual onesie, a year stamp in the same font as the others...:D) i loved the Bravo card with a Charmed life, too! can't wait to see what this year has in store!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Everyone made such wonderful cards for the blog hop, it's a joy to spend time reviewing them. I think the set I would get the most use of at this time in my life is "just so hippy" 'cause we're now starting to have great-grandchildren and I have very few stamps appropriate for young children's cards. And your characters are very charming...the kids will love them.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I don't have a blog so will just post a comment. It is hard for me to pick one, but my very 1st set I bought from Gina K. was Just So Hippy. 180. Has to be any scripture stamp in any set, Melanie! They are so difficult to find with direct quotes not paraphrases. Your designed versatility in tees stamps, logos for center shirt commemoration, and team or school participation hit huge resounding major stamping colors! Yeah! Two years and 25 sets of which a few are inking here!
    Keep Looking UP!

  181. Congratulations Melanie on a Huge Milestone!! I appreciate all your hard work, and talent and the fact that you so willingly share it with all of us!
It is hard to pick favorites like so many others have mentioned, but if I have to pick, for me right now it would be the poinsetta frame and the year of leaves...( of course that is more than one!!)
and one of my favorite projects was the candle useing the picture frame and the tissue,a beautiful gift. I did make one using the year of leaves for a gift for my girlfriend at Thanksgiving and she loved it...kept it out all during the fall and at Christmas since it was a dark red candle and the leaves were embossed gold and then colored in.

May God Bless your new year with much Peace and more Inspiration!
