The Caged Birds

Here is a card I created several months ago for our "Elegant Post" release and just forgot to share but, hey, look spring is coming and here are some springy colors again, LOL! I used Basic Grey Porcelain for the background, it is such a girly-girl pack. My older son actually had the idea to make my focal point dangling, and I thought this was a swell idea for the bird cage! I used two very narrow strips of CS and twisted them together to make a mock chain, similar to that in the print.

I can hardly come up for air right now with the kids' activities this weekend and stamping for our first peek Sunday night! Hold on to your hat, there is so much stamping goodness to share!

Don't forget to upload your flower creations for my contest!!
(Please don't let the guest designing twist intimidate anyone, there were SO many lovely flower creations for my last contest, where is everyone hiding this time? LOL! Thank you for the lovely entires so far, keep them coming! Come play!)

  1. What a beautiful card, and I love your son's inspiration to have the cage hanging free. When I saw this paper locally, I loved it so mich I bought 6 pieces and plan to get more! Thank you for sharing.
