StampTV Color Challenge

Were any of you like me trying to find some of the StampTV challenges this week in vain? LOL! Then I saw current challegnes have been whittled down to color and sketch for the time being, so just FYI! Gina threw down this elegant fall color ombo: chocolate, yellow and ivory, so I made simple card using this too perfectly coordinated sets Free with Three "You are Not Alone" and "Lean on Me". I started creating this simple patterned paper on ivory stamping the medallion in yellow then sponging the edges with yellow and Distressing Vintage Photo ink. I stamped on the flowers and branch and greting in Vivid Coffee Bean and added a strip of Chocolate Brown also stamped with the branch tone on tone. As an afterthought I crimped it to add some texture. I love simple designs with these stamps sets so I kept my layers and design minimal. This big brown button from the Chocolate mix is almost 1 1/2" wide, it was like finding a jewel in there! I plunked a yellow mix button on top and tied it with raffia. TIP: I also stamped a little vine inside, not only does it coordinate the inside with the outside, this is a simple way to make your card look extra purdy when you are staging it for a photo.

Coming tonight, Mary Anne's guest spot! :) Thank you for visiting!
