Day 2: Birds and Blossoms, Spoon Me, and Simple Hearts

Good Morning! The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas for our newest sets, and as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners, check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a few days after the hops.

First up we have Theresa Momber's Birds and Blossoms!  I love how you can add this bird perching on the house.  I cut both out to frame inside the die cut window and added a string of small adhesive pearls for a hanger.
Cardstock is Pure Luxury Powder Blue and White, and Innocent Pink.  I embossed the pink layer with the Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls folder which I think is super sweet with this stamp set!
I used gray and lavender Copics for my birdhouse and snipped apart the flowers to make the embellishments, cutting along the lines in between the petals to separate them for more dimension.  Ribbon is Powder Blue double stitched.

Next up we have Tami Mayberry's Simple Hearts, a terrific set for sweet and clean designs!  Lots of fun images to make backgrounds or stand alone elements, as well as two step stamping options!
Cardstock is Powder Blue, White and Red Hot.    I used a matching button from the Bowl of Cherries mix and some of the new Powder Blue double stitched ribbon.  (I used other pads I had to ink up the hearts because I made this before the Gina K pads arrive, so don't worry if these look like have slightly spotty coverage or don't look like perfect matches!  So excited to have a blue and red now with Gina K Powder Blue and Red Hot that will be just be prefect to recreate this!)
Finally, we have Becky Oehler's Spoon Me! Although the images in this set gave me lots of ideas for playful and unique designs, I had to make a bowling card first!
I just love how this shaped card turned out, with the pins flying, it's like a moment frozen in time!  Cut a 4" circle card with your die slightly overlapping the folded edge. Then cut another full circle from Pure Luxury Black Onyx to adhere to the top so you don't see the top fold. Aren't those chevron stripes you can add to the pins sweet?  Greeting is embossed with white EP.
TIP:  To determine where to place the pins to insure they will fit if you plan to send it in an envelope, place the shaped card over an A2 sized envy and then attach, at different angles to imply the explosion upon contact!  You bowl me over!!

Here are the sets we are featuring today:
