Challenge for You and a Prize!

Good morning, everyone! Today I have a new MIUM challenge! First of all, I hope everyone’s 2017 is off to a great start! Thank you so much for joining this week’s Mix It Up Monday on StampTV!  I’m excited to host 

My MIUM challenge – STV17MON2 for you this week is... “Third Time’s the Charm!”!  For this challenge, choose a stamp to showcase THREE times on your card, as a beautiful image always makes a real impact in multiples! 

Now on to my sample…You can, of course, add other embellishments, greetings, and have fun being creative with your colors (they can be different each time you stamp that main image, different technique each time, etc, just make sure it repeats three times!!)  I had my Triple Play Frame set on the brain when I was trying to decided what to make this week, but you do NOT need the frame to play along (just makes for an easy sketch, and lots of images to choose from)

You *don’t* have to have a greeting for each image, I just liked these from All About You!  This is the first time I think I have used a different sentiment next to each of the circles, and I love the storybook impact it makes, want to do it all the time now! I did a direct to stamp technique by swiping my colored pads into a gradient on each butterfly, and then adding some pierced dots like that were flying in and out of the frame ‘s layers, and finally tracing the underside of each butterfly to create a drop shadow.  I love how this turned out!! (Karen pointed out I also used three colors on each, but I wasn't thinking about that when I made it lol!) So glad I had a challenge to stretch me this week!
