Finally we have Asela's "Winter Wings". I chose the blue jay image, I am really fond of their colors and markings. After coloring with Copics, using pale shades of blue to accentuate the white areas, I colored some adhesive pearls with a Cardinal Copic to embellish the punched ferns and bring them image beyond the borders of the Labels 1 die cut mat.
I sponged it with some Vintage Photo ink and punched a lattice on the side to add interest and reveal a little of the Cranberry Tart layer below. After stampeding the greeting in black, I embossed both the cranberry strip and the Pure Luxury White mat with Leafy Branch and adhered these onto Good as Gold. Last I added some black stitched ribbon and more colored pearls. I chose Christmas color and red berries , but these birds and sentiments could easily work for cards outside of the winter months...
