Hello! Hope your summer is off to a great start! Today I am sharing how to make a stair step card of
cascading stamped flowers using my A Year of Flowers 2 set from Gina K.
Designs. A similar card of mine was featured on the cover of the CardMaker Summer 2014 . Thanks, CardMaker!
A free download of the written instructions is included here.
Supplies:
Gina K. Designs A Year of Flowers 2 stamp set
Gina K. Designs Pure Luxury White cardstock
Gina K. Black Onyx in pad
Spectrum Noir markers: TB3, TB5, DR2, DR5, CT2, GB6
(Copics: B24, B29, R29, R27, Y08, Y17)
scissors, adhesive foam, Scor-Buddy
Measurements:
5x 10 ½” white card base, scored at 1 ¼”, 2 ½” 4 ¼”, 6” and
8 ¼” ( or for a shorter scoring board, for the last measurement flip the
cardstock and put it all the way to the left fence and score at 2 ¼”
White scrap for stamping three flower borders, 5 ½” wide by
approximately 8” tall
Apologies: I said “brush tip” at 4:02, I meant bullet
tip. Spectrum Noir markers come with a chisel and a bullet tip, but brush
tips are available to replace either end, your choice!
Have a fabulous day!
What a great card congrats on being on the front of Cardmaker and thanks for the video

I have not made a stair step card in a very long time so you have inspired me to create one real soon as I love them! Your instructions are great and I really appreciate that you used the Spectrum Noir markers.
ReplyDeleteLove this. I watched your video today for inspiration as I'm in a sympathy swap and the deadline is looming.
