It's hard for me to believe that since I started illustrating and blogging two years ago I have already released 25 stamp sets with GinaK Designs (and written over 700 GinaK posts!!)On this first day of the new year, I am celebrating this huge milestone with the help of 25 designers, showcasing ALL my sets, starting with my very first set, "Just So Hippy", going in order all the way up to my most recent "Tech Talk"! I have been SO excited about this, a retrospective not only of my designs but so many ladies who guest designed or won contests with them, it will be such a wonderful stroll down "memory lane"! I have offered many different styles over the the past two years so it's gong to be really fun seeing them all together (There is candy plus a chance to join in our hop at the end of this post!)

I'm eager to get hopping but I had to share something so here is a quick peek of a new pop up template I have coming out next week, I created this little oven to go with one of my favorite sets from 2008, "Have a Cookie"! All the baking images you see here are from that stamp set!
DP is October Afternoon Report Card. I'll be back next week with the full card sample and instructions for assembling the oven, it's very similar to process for putting together my desk template, you are going to love using this template with that the cookie set to make your own little pop up kitchens! :)

Here's to a wonderful year of stamping and creating for each and every one of us in 2010!

Now it wouldn't be a party without candy! I have several prizes up for grabs, so I will be drawing several winners, one for each:

Get an extra chance at winning the newest set and the Nestabilities dies by joining in our hop and creating your own new sample with any of my sets and adding your name and link to the Mr. Linky below. Then, on your blog entry, refer people back here to my blog so they can hop to the next name on the list.

Thanks for the wonderful sets to create with and the many good memories they bring back!!

May 2010 be filled with dreams come true and many blessings!!

Lynda said...

What a milestone for you!!! All of your sets are so creative and versatile but my all time favorite is "Say it With Flowers". I have used this set several times for many different occsions and I always get a WOW from the recipient. Thank you for sharing your talents.

Nicole said...

My favorite set is a toss up between Year of Flowers and Hand in Hand...both of which I've used for multiple cards. I couldn't pick a favorite project from your blog. I find that each release, you don't just stamp the images from your sets, you expand on their use by "seeing" more in them than the first look. By combining them and stretching beyond what others do, you inspire me to see more uses in my stamps.

harrahx2 said...

I love all your sets but I particularly love the mosaic. It just lends itself toso many options! You are one talented girl!

Maria Levine said...

WOW WOW! All your sets are fabulous!! If I have to pick one it would be A Year of FLowers. That is my go to floral set by far! Can't wait to see what else you have tucked up that creative sleeve of yours.

Congrats on all those wonderful sets and here's to another 25!

Ruby A said...

I agree with others, its too hard to choose just one of your sets. They are all so versatile, but if I'm forced to choose one I will choose 'Year of flowers'. I love your designs in CardMaker magazine, especially the tulips. When I saw it I decided I was going to do that one for my Valentine cards, then I saw the designer and was pleasantly surprised. Keep up the great work for GinaK and will continue to review your blog every morning.

lisa808 said...

Wow, 25 sets in two years! You are amazing. Congrats and thanks for this fun and inspiring hop. You have designed so many beautiful, practical, and versatile sets. Tech Talk is my favorite set (Thanks!). I also have A Charmed Life. I have to admit, I never focused on Have a Cookie, but after seeing Carolina's post and the anticipation of your kitchen template, I'm loving that set too. Looking forward to seeing your new release this week.

Hi melanie! I just found out about this hop today. I don't know WHERE I've been...LOL Anyhoo....I LOVE your stamp sets. They are wonderful! I think my favorite is "say it with flowers". I just got this set and already I am in love with it. It's so versatile. I'm just waiting now to get some more funds together to order the Year of Flowers set to go with it. But, in the meantime, I'm using it for some other Gina K. flower images. :)Happy New Years to you and congratulations on your milestone and all your accomplishments!!

Melanie...I just finished the hop for "Mel" ;D! It was awesome to see all the talented designers play with your stamps! Speaking of -play- I would have to say I truly got a kick out of Lee's use of the Tech Talk set! I loved seeing her teeny tiny picture on the wall in her scene. Too funny! Too pick an absolute fav. card or set would be way to difficult! The Festive Frame set will always be close to my heart because it was my assignment for my CSS month!
Congratulations and keep those great stamp sets coming!! ;D Diana Q.

The stove is just adorable! And since I have a daughter who is a pastry chef,(and her love is a chef as well), that would be perfect to go with your cookie set....which I have been drooling over since it came out.

I would have to say my favorite is Therea's roses. They're just breathtaking. and I love the pop up desk card as well.

Pat Jandacek said...

Everyone made such wonderful cards for the blog hop, it's a joy to spend time reviewing them. I think the set I would get the most use of at this time in my life is "just so hippy" 'cause we're now starting to have great-grandchildren and I have very few stamps appropriate for young children's cards. And your characters are very charming...the kids will love them.

mommaladystamper said...

I don't have a blog so will just post a comment. It is hard for me to pick one, but my very 1st set I bought from Gina K. was Just So Hippy. I absolutely love this template and have been thinking about purchasing the Have a Cookie set, this has convinced me now. Congrats to you. Alice Roushia

I love everything you've designed, Melanie! Picking one is impossible. With that said, I think the most fun sets have been Tech Talk and the t-shirt sets. And, the desk pop-up is so versatile that that has become one of my faves as well. I'd love to own any of your great prizes. Please pick me.

Oh, yeah, Happy New Year!

Has to be any scripture stamp in any set, Melanie! They are so difficult to find with direct quotes not paraphrases. Your designed versatility in tees stamps, logos for center shirt commemoration, and team or school participation hit huge resounding major stamping colors! Yeah! Two years and 25 sets of which a few are inking here!
Keep Looking UP!

Congratulations Melanie on a Huge Milestone!! I appreciate all your hard work, and talent and the fact that you so willingly share it with all of us!
It is hard to pick favorites like so many others have mentioned, but if I have to pick, for me right now it would be the poinsetta frame and the year of leaves...( of course that is more than one!!)
and one of my favorite projects was the candle useing the picture frame and the tissue,a beautiful gift. I did make one using the year of leaves for a gift for my girlfriend at Thanksgiving and she loved it...kept it out all during the fall and at Christmas since it was a dark red candle and the leaves were embossed gold and then colored in.

May God Bless your new year with much Peace and more Inspiration!
