Video: How to Stamp Emerging Corners with Wild at Heart

Hello! Today I show you how to make “emerging corners” with my Wild at Heart set from Gina K. Designs.  The partial inking or embossing of one or more corners (or top and bottom as shown in one sample) of this bold reverse image flower frame will add a lot of style and interest to your cards, and create so many new layouts, with ample space to showcase your favorite images and greetings in the open area.  So many options, you choose how thick or thin your corners will be!  I use the perching butterflies from my Stately Flowers 10 set (which were still out on my desk from last week!), perfect for resting on the edge of these stamped reveals, and finish with simple coloring with the coordinating inks pads and a water brush. Please enjoy this clean and simple design! I hope you will subscribe to my channel.

Supplies:
Gina K. Designs Wild at Heart, Stately Flowers 10 stamp sets
Gina K. Pure Luxury White and Powder Blue cardstock
Gina K. Powder Blue, Wild Wisteria, and Memento Tuxedo Black ink pads
Gina K. 4”x 6” and small acrylic blocks, adhesive, water brush or watercolor brush, sponge dauber

Video: Create a New Frame and Frame Any Image with Triple Play Frame

Hello! Today I give my Triple Play Frame’s frame stamp a workout and a brand new look using the omission technique: inking up just a portion of the frame to create this wonderful open space you can fill with any stamped images, greetings  or embellishments you choose!  And like all my frames, this new open frame you create gives you FOUR new sketches for your landscape and portrait style cards.  A quick and easy way to add structure and style to your designs, this is fabulous for framing up any of the flowers in my Stately Flowers series. Here I demonstrate it with the dogwood from Stately Flowers 10, and share simple coloring with colored pencils.  (Magnolia in my other sample is from Stately Flowers 3) So many possibilities for rocking this “new” frame!  Please enjoy!

Note: My son mixed up some of my pencils, ack!  I realized after recording the 111 brown is from the Marine collection, but the Essentials collection does contain other browns.  No need to get both!

Supplies:
Gina K. Designs Triple Play Frame, Stately Flowers 10 stamp sets
Gina K. Pure Luxury Kraft cardstock 4 ¼” x 11, scored at 5 ½”
Spectrum Noir Professional Colored Pencils-Essentials (brown, green and white)
Gina K acrylic blocks-4” x 6” gridline and round 3.5” gridline

Here is the video I  mentioned for the Whitewash technique with Stately Flowers 7

Here are a few of the projects I have created for today’s hop, again , only patterned paper, cardstock, stamps and dies form the kit and incentive set!

I was really taken with the sheep instantly and loved how she was sassy kicking up just one little heel. it got me to thinking she could tip toe across these die cut flowers.

Next up, this bunny is taking flight! there re a lot of ways you can use the balloon die cut, but I decided to just stamp the strings on to the background and then die cut three balloons from the patterned paper pack and trim of the string part , popping hem up on foam. This is such a great pack, so many fun prints! For the clouds, I stamped them, cut out, and then flipped them over to omit the outline, adding a little shadow with the GG2 like i used on the die cut bunny.
What a gorgeous incentive set this is! And prefect greetings for your besties! On this card, I mainly sponged but then added a few details with Spectrum Noir markers, like the stem and little darker yellow on the drkest parts of the flower. Not everything has to be perfectly shaded or inside the lines all the time, and I love the glow it creates on this flower and just suggesting color on the leaves! Mat is sponged with Turquoise Sea, Fresh Asparagus, and finally Wild Dandelion, to match the card base. Love these patterned chevron papers!

Last, I stamped this pair of flowers to go with the thick and thin greeting. It is easy to make your own stem with markers pencils, or pens!

Bold and Blooming StampTV Kit
Today, we are featuring the first stamp set from the kit called Bold and Blooming. These stamps are so much fun and versatile! These are perfect for spring! You will be able to create amazing card projects using this beautiful stamp set! Have fun and be creative! ALL cardstock, patterned papers, dies and stamps that I used below are in the kit!

These dies and images are so cool! i'm pretty sure they are supposed to be leaves, but all I see is butterfly wings! The Red Hot butterfly is created by stamping and stamping off the large and small leaf, and the Ocean Mist one by stamping and stamping off the smaller leaf and then flipping and repeating. At first this was a flat card, but when you have dies, you really ought to use 'em! It adds so much dimension to the wings, cutting these two pieces. Then those little bold curved pieces make the bodies and antennae, fun!! I added just a portion of the large floral piece to the corner and inside and added just a touch of color. I love it!

Next, I had to use some of the awesome flower dies! I love the different possibilities for the this detailed image with the line, so here I am turning it to use as a stem. I love when greetings are placed on the vertical, just to change things up! I added a die cut leaf (yep, it's a leaf this time) in case it wasn't obvious I was going for a stem!
Flowers are stamped in Ocean Mist and base is Turquoise Sea from the kit, these colors blend so beautifully. Flowers, leaves and fiddle heads are colored with Spectrum Noir.

Last, I guess I also see PETALS, surprise!! Make your own flowers, it's super fun to do. The dies and round flower stamps now work double duty as flower centers, and then just stamp stamp stamp the leaves for some ginormous blooms! Bold, indeed! Base is Fresh Asparagus.
