Out of the Box Men of Faith!

So a little bird (Gina K) told me that another little bird (Lydia Fiedler) said that my Men of Faith silhouette looks like West TEXAS and it needed a card with my bluebonnet from Stately Flowers! (I guess when you live in Texas you can't not see it eventually!) So here it is! What I imagined when she told me... 

Good idea, ladies!

I made this for my stepfather whose favorite time of year is a drive through the hill country, when the roadsides become a sea of blue. It really is magnificent and worth the trip if you've never been (and it happens in March before it gets HOT, Spring is delightful here! Really. It is. :) The silhouette is swiped vertically with Kraft ink to look like wood grain, (I love how the one skip made a little knot!) and then tapped again along the bottom edge to make it stand out. Flower is colored with Spectrum Noir markers. Cardstock is White, Kraft, and Navy, and patterned paper is form the Journey of the Heart pack.
