Today I have pics from last week when my little William officially got "sporty" for the first time, 4 year old soccer, here are pics from his first game! Here is pre-game, love how when they are little their socks come up to their thighs!
I kind of remembered 4 year old soccer being an "adorable disaster", it takes a while for kids to figure it out when they are starting if you never been to little one's soccer games, but he and his team (the Blue Jets) really had it going on! Here he is, scoring his first of FOUR goals! He did a little victory dance after each, so cute! I think this is the second or third one I can't remember which LOL! Then he ran over to give me a hug, too :)
Of course, I HAD to kick off the season with some Sporty cupcakes! ;0 Flag, "Go team!", and ball (punched with 1 1/4" circle) are from "Sporty Accessories" . Simply cut out the pennant (stamped on Brilliant Blue and accented with Inkssentials white pen) and glue to each flat toothpick with Mono Multi! They were a big hit! It was easy but they made me look like Soccer SUPER MOM! (don't worry, I'm not doing that every game, LOL!)
Here he is with his cupcake! I can't believe how lucky I got with this shot, he always moves when I try to snap a pic so you never know what your pic will look like, and I love how the ball ended up right in front of his eye! Score!
Post cupcake shot with me! Do I look proud of him or what? When I get my color printer working again, you can bet I will be scrapping some sporty soccer pages for the blog (and baseball, with Jonathan , too!)
Thanks for letting me share! :) Have a good one!
This brings back so many memories with my kids. Wonderful pictures and looks like a little sports star in the making. Thanks for sharing Mom!!!

Way to go William!!! Love your photos, Mel! And those cupcakes look yummy!
ReplyDeleteI remember my DS's first year of soccer. I guess the coach forgot to tell them where the end of the field was because the first game they all went running as a little pack right off the field, leaving all the parents yelling "wait, come back!"
I love the one of him dancing. So cute.
