The Gift!

"A Year of Borders" is now officially my BIGGEST debut stamp set to date! Wowee, this totally flew off the shelves (I don't think they even made it onto the shelf actually, straight from baking into your packages!), hip hip hurray! Thank you SO much for patronage of Gina K Designs and our stamps! I just have to tell you that the more I surrender my life and business to the Lord, the more I am blessed. The more I focus on my family and put Him in control, the more I am rewarded, in so many ways! God is good! Please remember the gift of Jesus to the world in this busy Christmas season.

I made the card above with the poinsettia border, colored with Copics and traced with a red glitter pen, and stamping the greetings from "Seasonal Sayings" in cranberry into the white CS panel embossed with Labels 14. Designs like this made my Christmas cards go so much faster without all the layers but still looked super fancy! It has many similarities to the peek I did for the border set (which lists the same Copic colors), but went a lot quicker! Lattice punch along the bottom, base is Lipstick Red and flowers and fancy corners punched from Good as Gold are embellished with adhesive pearls.

I would like to give away a gift to one of you today! Please tell me below in the comment section the best gift in your life this year (or one of them) and what stamp set you would MOST like from my collection, your choice! You can click on the tab at the top of my blog to see all the sets. Be sure to leave the NAME of the stamp set you want in your comment!! I will post the winner tomorrow, so don't wait to leave one! And be sure to check back!

Thanks for visiting!

  1. God has blessed my husband and I in so many ways but my best gift this year would have to be my husband being unemployed. He was laid off before Christmas last year. On the surface it doesn't sound like a gift. The gift was making us dependent on God like we never have been before. Watching God's demonstration of the "fishes and loaves" to allow us to still put money into savings somehow after the bills were paid. Being able to witness my husband's confidence that God's timing is perfect when what seems like the perfect job just never materializes. It has just been a fantastic year! And he starts a new job on January 3rd!!! God is Good ALL of the time!

Thank you for the opportunity to win. I have only found Gina K Designs this past summer so there are so many of your sets that I don't have yet. Being a little OCD, I want them all!! but I think I would like "A Year of Flowers". I just wish I could get it Pre-Cut! I just love not having to cut the stamps out now!

  2. Hmmmm...best gift. A husband that is accepting my love of Christmas more and more and even singing along with Christmas songs before Thanksgiving! We're so blessed, it's really hard to pick one thing!

  3. I am a big fan of your designs and work...and appreciate your comments that give God the glory.
My best gift this year is the same as every year...the Grace of God to save a wretch like me and to continue to make Himself known to me in progressively greater degree. That surpasses all my joys and sorrows in circumstances.
This is the season to celebrate and proclaim to the world that the good news of Christ the savior that was born....Immanuel--God with us!
Merry Christmas to you and if I should be so blessed to win, I would be honored for you to chose the set...I don't have any of yours YET, and love them all :-D.

  4. Ohhhh--if the weather cooperates, I will be flying to TX on Thursday and spending 2 weeks with my dd and her family. The best gift will be celebrating the 2nd birthday with my gs who is our miracle baby. So many trails and years went by before he was born. I just celebrate every day that my grandson is healthy. He is so loved by his family. Thanks for the chance to win. I would pick a Year of Borders for their versatility.

  5. WOW- Mel- I love your heart! I would have to say that the best gift that I have received this year is my new job. I didn't change jobs (I'm still teaching) but my job changed from first graders to preschoolers and I am so thankful for this blessing. It has renewed and restored me and given me the time to be "me" (in all areas). There are so many more but if I HAVE to pick JUST one that would be it.

The set I would love is your newest one Mugs and Kisses (of course I love the wee tees and the flowers and all the others too but the Mugs and Kisses would be it)

  6. My best gift everyday is the love of my husband and the health that we each have as we get older. I enjoy so many of your stamp sets especially the ones with flowers. And I love already having your borders...that is the great one yet. I would like to have "Wild at Heart" if I should be fortunate to win your generous offer.

  7. Hi Mel! Congratulations on your latest stamp set. That is great news! My best gift this year was the iPad that my husband surprised me with for my birthday. It's awesome, and so is he! I would love to get your Just So Hippy stamp set. I have always loved it, but just haven't picked it up yet. Happy Holidays!

  8. I love your blog and your stamps!! Thanks for all the inspiration you give us!! I was recently laid off from my job (1 month) but have been blessed by my husband and my family being there for me! Everything happens for a reason, so I am taking this one day at a time!! I would love to win a year of borders set. Thanks for the chance!!

  9. God has blessed my husband and I with the gift of life. We thank Him for the gift of blood transfusions and a clinical trial at Mayo Clinic that keeps my husband by my side. Every day is a gift filled with love. Donna T.
Any set would be a wonderful gift!

  10. This years best gift. The continuing love and support of my husband and boys, not just in stamping but life, I am so lucky!! The wonderful friendships I have made in the hobby that continue to grow, and the stamping opportunities I have had this year!!
I love your sets Mel!!! If I had to choose just 1, it would be your newest set, Mugs and Kisses.
    Thanks so much Mel!!!

  11. Melanie, big congrats to you!!! Your card is just beautiful and it is no wonder it is so very popular. It is just a perfect "go-to" stamp set!
My best gift to date that is tangible is my Scrap Box mini box my husband got me this past spring...just wonderful for storing all of my supplies. However, I have been blessed more than deserved with my salvation, dear husband who loves me in spite of myself and my three children....
Don't count me in on this...I just had to participate in this. So VERY happy for you!!!

  12. My biggest gift is the knowledge that God watches over me always and reminds me of what my focus in life should be.. my family and helping others when needed. My preschool teaching position was cut, but a family at church needed a part time nanny and I have been so enjoying my new job.

  13. The best present I have ever received was a surprise birthday party this year given to me by my son and husband. Having said that they are probably my best present. The stamp I would most love to have is the Festive Frames. I love that stamp - it's great and thanks for the opportunity.

  14. It's hard to say what my best gift would be, because I know I have it already. I have two wonderful son, the beset life partner I could ever ask for, a family that loves me, friends that support me and everyone is healthy and happy.I can't ask for anything more.

Lots of people say that, but I truly mean it. I've had tough years when life wasn't so good, and I've come to appreciate, truly, the blessings I have.

I really love your Wild at Heart set. It's absolutely gorgeous.

  15. Beautiful card, Mel. I am most happy this year that it finally looks like my son's behavior is improving. We have worked with various services over the last few years (he turns 6 next month), and his behavioral acting out has been such a source of stress and pain. He is in a special program at the public elementary school (who I am very thankful for), and we are finally seeing him controlling himself and the joy that he is finding in being a "good boy" and succeeding. My heart about bursts when he comes home with another "green" day, and his cheesy grin and "two thumbs up."
And through all the work, I've found my calling and started back to school a year ago on my Master's degree, changing careers, to work with kids like Gabe as a behavior analyst. It's a scary time, with the economy, but I know God's hand is on this one, so I'm plowing ahead.
Thanks for your generosity. You know I love your poinsettias, and would love to have the Year of Borders.
Happy holidays! May you continue to be blessed in the new year.

  16. Congratulations Mel, what great news you must be thrilled !! My best gifts are my wonderful husband and daughter. I know I can always count on them. You have so many great sets but one I don`t have is the Year of Borders which I adore. Thanks for a chance of winning. Have a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year.

  19. I am not suprised that a Year of boarders flew off the shelves - it is a very beautiful set and one that I would love to own.
My biggest gift this year was my dear Mum's return to good health after a very worrying three months of prayer and love. To have my parents is gift I never forget. Have a wonderful Christmas!
Edited to add I would like to win A Year of boarders.

  20. Well this helps me to reflect on all of God's blessings this year (and always!)...my husband lost his job earlier this year and so many are in this predicament right now. He was able to find another one thankfully and the blessings from this transition are so numerous I have lost count! I have my wonderful family - all healthy and happy, my nephew just got his architect's license (this has taken about 8 years to obtain)-I could go on & on about how good God is to us no matter what!

If I am fortunate to be the winner - I would love your Hip to be Square set! Thank you for the opportunity! :)

  21. The best gift this year was after three mammos & five ultrasounds, my mother was given a clean bill of health! The set that I would want most is definitely the new 'A Year of Borders.'

  22. Hi Melanie! All your sets and creations are AMAZING! It's truly a gift just to read your blog. But, the best gift I've received this year is the love and support of my husband and his family. I've had a very challenging year and been outcast by some of my 'blood' family, sadly they put money above relationships. Anyway, God has more than filled the gap by surrounding me with a super supportive friend family and awesome hubby. I am so grateful to have them in my life.

As far as a favorite set or yours, how can I pick just one! Thankfully I already have several and would have to flip a coin between your 2 newest, Year of Borders or Mug of Kisses.

  23. My best gift this year was a new job. I found a job that I love and I am so much happier every day because of it.

I would choose buds and vases as my set if I were to win.

  24. I made a brand new friend this year,
who couldn't be any more dear.
She's smart and funny, caring and sweet.
Helpful and positive-Oh, what a treat!

A special lady, on my PC
A brand new friend, from StampTV.
Joy and happiness, there would be,
For on the way home from Wisconsin, she came to meet me.

A very kind and gentle soul
with a lovely family, to boot.
I am blessed to have this great new friend,
    she really is a hoot!

P.S. there is no word that rhymes with purple!

Melanie, I would love your Hand in Hand set!

  25. Beautiful card, Mel and congratulations on your success with "Year of Borders". I knew when I first saw it, it would be a winner and a part of my collection. And it is!

I love reading your blog and hearing your testimony to the love God has given to each of us through His son, Jesus.

My greatest gift this year has been the answer to my prayers for my mother. She has Alzheimer's disease and a year ago came to live with my husband and I. When she first came to our home, we had no doctor for her and each time I tried to find one I was told they weren't taking any new patients or they only worked in nursing homes. Each call was a closed door. I prayed endlessly for help and when it came, it came by way of a blood clot in her leg. While waiting in the ER for treatment for her blood clot, a Dr., who wasn't supposed to be there that day was there. He took the time to give me assistance in securing the right Dr. for her Alzheimer's care. From there, each step in getting her the proper care with the right people was no longer difficult. She is now in one of the best AZ care facilities available and it's only 10 min from my home. I am so grateful for His love and blessings upon my mother.

I just LOVE your set "Mugs and Kisses" and that would be my choice if I were to receive your generous gift.

  26. This year has been a roller coaster for us - hubby's only job a parttime retail position and seeing his hours cut to almost nothing and trying to encourage him was almost more than I could take. Thankfully I have a good fulltime job. A couple of weeks ago he called with the news that he had been "promoted" to fulltime and there would be no more 15 hour weeks. God is so good!!

I love the Wild at Heart stamp set.

  27. Congratulations Melanie, You deserve the recognition. I love your work. Best gift this year..hmmm,well it has to be the adorable female airedale I received from my daughter this weekend. She is three years old and has been badly abused so will take a lot of work and patience to build that trust, but so worth it in the end. I'm allergic to ALL animals, but have found no problems with airedales. That's a REAL blessing!!! I would love to have the year of borders. I adore that set. Thanks for this opportunity and may God continue to bless you and your family. Hugs, Sharon :o)

This is absolutely a stunning card.
I think the best gift in my life this year has been discovering such wonderful blog friends and all the wonderful gifts of help and freebies freely given to help each other make lovely cards and scrapbooking.
If I was to win any of the sets I think it would have to be a year of borders.

  29. Melanie, one of the greatest gifts this year, all year, has been the fun of reading my blog friends postings. It brings so many smiles every day. I enjoy all your sets and own many. I would enjoy any set you choose! Thanks always for sharing so much of your time.

  30. Beautiful card, Mel! Love that border set and have used the poinsettias a lot on my Christmas cards.
Wow, trying to pick just one gift that I am most thankful for is very hard. I feel so very blessed that we are both employed, our kids are healthy, happy and on their way to productive adult lives, and we rarely want for anything that I guess I just have to say that I am thankful for the gift of the life I have.
Thanks for the chance to win one of your sets. I have most of them but didn't get Mugs and Kisses when I ordered because I just had to cut back a bit this month on my stamp order. I really want to add that set to my collection because it is so versatile and fun!

  31. I actually got my best gift today, when Dad announced he will be moving closer to us kids. He currently lives in another state & as he ages, we worry about how faraway he is.
It seems like such a simple gift but he is the rock of our family. I'm crying with joy as I write this.
Thank you for the chance to add another one of your designs to my range of stamps. Like you I beleive your 'Year of Borders" is one of your best yet.

  33. The best gift in my life this year is my very first grandbaby. She is just so adorable and looks just like her daddy with some of her mother's best features. She has two older sisters whom I consider to be my granddaughters as well. They call me Memere and I just love them to bits. Just goes to show that it doesn't always have to be blood to be family and to love.

  36. My biggest gift this year is a new awakening & growth in my heart acknowledging that God is faithful, He is sovereign and nothing that happens surprises Him. Isaiah 25:1 LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago. I love your "A Year of Boarders" and would LOVE to win a set!

  38. My best gift this year was seeing my son blossom. He graduated from college and got a job in Boston. His job changed over the year and he found himself traveling back and forth between Boston and Utah for work. My son was a real home body and he didn't want to move away from us; Went to college very close to home. So I worried when he moved so far away. But he's made friends, loves his work and has grown so much. I know the Lord has had a special hand in his growing up.
I have lots of your sets, but one I don;t have is Buds and Vases. I'd love to add that to my collection. I just ordered the borders set and can't wait for it to arrive. It will definitely be playing time then! Happy Holidays!

  39. This might sound dorky but the best two gifts I received this year were (1) my hubby's safe return from a year long deployment, and (2) another year with our furbaby - he truly is the sun of my solar system and hope that everyone who is interested in adding a little furball to their family will consider adoption. Thank you so much for the chance to win one of your fantastic sets melanie! WOW! If I had to pick one I'd say... Mugs and Kisses. That little "M" on the chocolate just beckons to me. Thank you for creating so many lovely sets for us to create with. I hope you and your loved ones have a very Merry Christmas and a healthy & happy new year!

  40. HMMM, the best gift is a tough one. Being able to spend some time with my DD, having a husband that took care of me when I broke my ankle AND wrist and didn't complain.
I have a few of your sets but there are 2 I'm drooling over, Gifts from the Sea and Buds and Vases, I couldn't choose!
Congrats on the Borders set selling so well. It just has so many great samples that how could it not!

  43. I think that the best gift I have received this year is the unconditional love of my husband and my daughter. I am only human and I know that I am not a "prize" every day. Despite that, they each show their love and affection for me each and every. I am so blessed to have the love of my family.

I was so overwhelmed by my blessing that I forgot to mention that Gifts from the Sea is the set I most love in your collection of stamps!

  44. So many blessings! I so appreciated your surrender to God of your business and the resulting blessings! He just loves us! Oh, how He loves us!!! I was surprised by a gift from my daughter-in-law. She and my son and 2 littlest grandsons live in Anderson, Ca. We had the joy of going there in March/April this year. She sent me a T-shirt this past summer that said, "Someone in California loves you" It was so sweet of her to do that. It blessed me greatly.
Melanie your Inspiration Mosaic was my 1st GKD set. I would love to have the Year of Borders, if I'm picked. Thanks for all your designs and inspirations!

  46. The best gift I received this year was new stamping supplies I received from my cousin! She knows how much I enjoy card-making so she gave me some of her discontinued supplies (from when she was a consultant. Many of them were new and still in orig. packaging. I would love to have all of your stamp sets, but would have to pick "A Year of Leaves" since I have to narrow it to one! Thanks for the inspiration and the chance to win it!

  47. My best gift this year is the health of our young adult daughter. She has had a really rough year and now after two serious surgeries she is feeling like and acting like the happy young girl we used to know.

I love all of your sets and just found you and GKD in Sept. If I had to pick just one, after much deliberation it would have to be A Beautiful Life frame set. It was not easy to choose just one. Thank you.

  48. The best gift I received this year was a family pass to the Master Chef Live show...I took my daughter and grandchildren and we all had the best day together. This was a true blessing because there was no money to pay for this sort of ticket and I've had a very stressful year.
I would love for you to choose the set for me if I was fortunate enough to win this.
    thanks so very much, Rhonda

  49. Melanie first off Congratulations on A Year of Borders being such a hit! Though I am not surprised it is a fantabulous set!

I would say that the best gift is the adult relationship that is developing between my son and myself. It can be a bumpy transition from childhood to adulthood and I had some difficulties excepting that he had grown up. This past year we have been able to adjust and it is the best! I still miss my little boy terribly, but I am so proud of the man he is becoming. Okay enough with the sappy stuff.

Thank you so much for the chance to win one of your sets. As you already know I have a large number of your sets, but I miss getting A Beautiful Life so that would be my pick if I were lucky enough to win.

Thank you Melanie, you totally rock!!

I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and that next year brings with it much love and joy to your lives.

    Hugs

  50. Without a doubt my best gift to myself this year was a sudden understanding of how to get fit and how to fit it into my life. I've lost almost 40 pounds and am 15or so away from my goal weight. This gift has given my family a happier, more active and energetic mom, wife, sister and friend.

I would just swoon if I won Mugs and Kisses. EVERYONE I know is a huge coffee freak and this set would come in real handy!

  51. Your designs are so awesome. I really enjoy your blog and your creativity.
My best gift this year was my oldest daughter, 24, being dianosis with a rare intercranial hypertension condition that impacted her sight severely and cause her much head pain. She couldn't work or drive for 6 months. I am so grateful that her necessary surgery was successful and she has returned back to work and driving and being the independent daughter she has always wanted to be. She matured beyond her years over the past year. We are truely blessed. My favorite stamp set of yours is Wild at Heart.

I think the best gift for me this year is my son who lost his dad/my husband 2 years ago who is finally coming out of his shell and seeing what life is about. It's great to see him talk about his life what interests him and he even asks how my day went.We even manage to get away to see a Nascar race this year. I like the Arranged with Love stamp set. Thanks so much. Merry Christmas and all the Best for 2011.

  56. The best gift of our year was, surprisingly, the gentle passing of our Moms without pain and suffering, without the noise and chaos that can be inherent to resuscitation. We honored their wishes to let them go peacefully and, as hard as it was, we wished them Godspeed, they closed their eyes and flew to be with our Dads. Thank you for letting me realize this.

My greatest gift is my husband who encourages and supports me in my card making efforts, as well as all areas of my life. I would love to win A Year of Borders. I can see so many possibilities with this set. Your Christmas card was beautiful and could easily be adapted to any time of year by changing the border and the sentiment. Thanks for all your great inspiration.

  63. Seems I recall an email where I told you what a super huge hit "A Year of Borders" was going to be. So glad I was right! Mugs and Kisses are wrapped and under the tree so I don't cheat and use it early!

I have had many blessing this year. Both children have thrived on the job front, moved or are moving to permanent digs, planning weddings, and healthy.

DH and I have made adjustments so that retirement may actually be able to happen.

If I had to choose the biggest, it would be the wonderful friendships I have made in the stamping world. This includes you, Mel. Thanks for trusting me to guest design with one of you awesome sets! It really was a thrill!

If I had to pick a set that I don't have, it would have to be Pressed Flowers.

    Blessings of the Season, Mel.

  64. I think my favorite stamp set is Festive Frame followed closely by A Year of Borders...but having said that I already have both!!! :-))) So...if I were to win...I'd choose....Buds and Vases. As for what my greatest gift is...it is truly the gift of family and friends. Family who stand by you no matter...who share...laugh..visit...smile and cry with you and friends who do the same NO matter what!! How very fortunate to live in a world where someone is there when they are truly needed. I'm very blessed and fortunate to have them as well as being able to enjoy each day I am alive. I feel very happy and content with my life and do enjoy each day. It is a great feeling and how lucky I am! Thanks for sharing your lovely creations with us....you have a wonderful special talent! :-) Merry Christmas and the best in 2011!

  65. Thank you for the chance to win one of your stamp sets. I already have several of them and would love the Year of Borders. God has truely blessed my family in many ways this year! My mother had a cancerous lump removed last January and is now cancer free! My grandchildren are now safe and thriving since my son has gotten custody- I can stop worring about them. I think the biggest gift is the realization that I can handle things myself, I need no turn them over to God and he will provide!
I hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas!

  66. My best gift this year was a bountiful harvest from almost a perfect growing season. Having home grown vegetables and fruits all winter long is one of the greatest gifts I could receive.

I would love the Bountiful Borders stamp set to stamp on my cloth bags.

  67. 2010 was a truly odd and somewhat scary year from a health POV for the family, butit's the end of the year almost, and heart attacks have been recovered from, knees and achilles' tendons are healing, cysts are benign and the family seems to be on a health(ier) curve heading into 2011. Best wishes and prayers to your family, Mel, and to everyone else here too for a healthy happy 2011.

I'm a huge Mel stamp fan, and I think most of my GKD's have your name on them :D, but the two still on my wish list are Year of Borders and Just So Sporty.

  68. My greatest gifts were not at Christmas. My best gifts are my husband and my 2 children. Cliche I know but I cannot think any gift I've ever received that top those 3.

What a fabulous gift here at Christmas time. I think I would have to choose A Year in Borders.

  69. My husband and family who are so supportive are the best gifts I could ever ask for. My husband is so supportive that he took our three kids away for a weekend so I could host a scrapbooking/crafting weekend at our house and watched the 3 kids another weekend when I went to a scrapbooking/crafting getaway.

If I win I'd choose Year of Flowers. I've wanted that set since it came out, it's so beautiful.

  70. I love your work and thank you so much for sharing your beautiful talent. I must say that the best gift I have had this year is when we went for his cancer check up, everything is okay for another year.

Thanks for the chance to win. And may I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.

  71. well as with many - we are all very grateful in our family for my husband being able to keep himself employed - he had lost his job almost 2 years ago, and as you know God works in mysterious ways - he has fallen into his current line of work - it has been wonderful for the family. With his old job we never saw him, we often ate as a family with out him ... his hours are more reasonable now - he starts earlier and his home earlier ... now we almost always eat as a family - and as a bonus - he usually cooks!
Thanks for all the inspiration Melanie (or should I say J hehe)!
I am still pining for "Wild at Heart"
    Enjoy!

  72. My life has been blessed with so many gifts. Ten years ago, my son was diagnosed with schizophrenia and has had to put his life on hold to learn to live with his symptoms. This year he's been able to go back to college (at age 32) to continue work on his fine arts degree. He lives independently, is managing his symptoms and hopes to finish his degree by next Dec. He's looking forward to graduate school and a life that ten years ago we never thought he could have. I thank the Lord for my son's courage and determination and continue to pray that all will go well for him.

PS Sometimes he gives me advice on my cards, and has even asked me to make some for him.

I love the borders and your creativity!! Keep all the beautiful things coming our way.

  73. The best gift in my life this year was the birth of two new grandchildren--I have a total of three now.
I think I would choose the set Arranged with Love.

  74. My best gift this year and for 30 years is my husband. He is SO thoughtful!! He tells me he loves me every day, he is my best friend and he supports me in all that I do. I really don't know what I did to deserve him but I thank God that he sent him my way:)
That was the easy part---choose ONE of your stamp sets...I have 2, I want them all but will choose "Fun Year Round". I can see so many possibilities:)

  75. The best gift of this year is being reunited with my brother. My nephew died; and because of that I re-connected with my brother. So even though it has been a very sad year for us with my nephew fighting cancer, there has been a lot of good that has come out of it. The best gift of all is that Jesus loves me!!!

As for the favorite set, oh that is tough. You are my favorite designer of Gina K stamps and I love them all. My favorite though is Gifts from the Sea. One of my favorite books is by Anne Morrow Lindberg and is Gifts from the Sea. And I love shells and the ocean as well. Your "A Year of Borders" set is the one I would most like to have however. :) Shells and MORE!!

  77. Congratulations, Melanie!! Your stamp sets are always awesome!
I think my best gift this year is "being able to spend time with my parents". I've never had time for them like I did this year, and I think God is teaching me many new things through time spent with my parents. I'm learning fresh perspectives about honouring parents, loving them and also patience.
    Thanks for being so kind in offering a gift. I think it will make a great gift for someone, I'd already had mine from you. {{HUGS}}

  79. I have received many gifts this year. I am constantly amazed by the wonderful class I have in school this year. The best gift though, would have to be that I still have my mom with me for Christmas. Last week I was afraid she might not make it. She is home from the hospital now and doing well given the circumstances! I just wasn't ready to be without her yet!

I love your work with Gina K. Designs! I am not at all surprised that "Year of Borders" flew off the shelves! It's a beautiful set! That's the one I want, should I be the lucky winner! Thanks for the opportunity!

  80. My gift this year would have to be the new friends I have made since I found GKD & Stamptv, I never knew there were such giving, caring and loving people out there. But since I started making cards a beautiful life has opened up for me. Thank you for a chance to win one of your beautiful stamp sets, I would love the Year of Borders set, no wonder it is selling so well I think it would be on everyone's wish list. Have a very merry & safe christmas and new year.
    Kind Regards

  83. I am Blessed this year with my DH graduating from college in a new field. After losing his job of 25 yrs, now 3 years of unemployment. He was able to finish school with the unexpected lose of his younger brother earlier in 2010. We are believing God will place him in a job in 2011. Thank you for being so generous!!

I am new to GKD so i don't have many sets. But I love your Candles on my cake set!

    Merry Christmas!!

  84. The best gift this year was the support of my crafting buddies after I lost my job. If it hadn't been for card making I would have been much more of a mess than I am. The crafting community is generous. I like the coffee cup/java set.

  85. I have had many wonderful Christmases and blessings through the years. I'm going to go wayyyyyyy back when I was about 8 years old. I already had a metal playhouse and I had seen a cream color plastic sofa at the 5 and 10 cent store. I really wanted it, but it was .10 cents and I didn't have it. Christmas morning I awoke to many wonderful presents, but my sister had bought me the cream color sofa. Money was very scarce back then so I know she gave up a precious .10 cents and its the present I remember the most. She is still a very giving person and I love her very much. I love all the stamp sets, but would love to have Wild at Heart.

  86. My best Christmas was in 1991. My daughter was 12 yrs old, and in March of that year she broke her leg. After her leg was casted, she was not feeling well. I pushed very hard to find out what was wrong with her. Her main doc thought I was making things up. His wife (hubby and wife were a doc team)sent my daughter for cat scan. (a month after breaking her leg) Well, it turned out she had a brain tumor. It was a difficult year for her. She was not to survie and if she was, they said she would not be walking, talking and was to be on a feeding tube. Well, after 3 surgies and treatment she proved them wrong. She is now 32 yrs old with some disablities. Worked for many years and did graduate from high school. So, the Christmas of 1991 was a blessed one. Every year I am so grateful for what God has given me. In a blink of an eye a life can change forever.....So, every day I just thank God of the day a head of me......

  87. My best gift this year has been my husband's wonderful care of me as I recover from a total knee replacement. He makes it possible for me to do the things I have to do to rehabilitate my knee. I culdn't do it without him.

I have so many of your sets, but would love to have A Year in Flowers. Happy holiday to you!

  90. Many blessings have been bestowed upon me this year...my daughter was married in June and now I have a new son. My grandson is healthy and turned 2 and he lives right across the street from me. My husband is hardworking and kind; and praise God he still has a job. I am surrounded by a diverse set of family and friends...and I love them all. My only sadness is I miss my son whom still lives in the same town as us but has not been an active part of our family for the the past 2 months. I ask for pray from everyone about this; for God's will to be done and hopefully that he will return back to our family with our arms waiting "opened wide." I like all the Gina K stamps so picking a favorite is difficult...very difficult. But I know so many people being blessed by babys right now that I would choose "Wee Tees." I have looked at your posts and you do a knock-up job on your cards; your have a God given gift! Merry Christmas to you and yours, Connie.
