Okay, here's an easy one: tell me where you're from!! I have a new "Stately Flowers" set coming out this Thursday, and if you live in one of the states included in December's set, you just might be one of the first to get "Stately Flowers 2"! :) Let me know below!
I'll announce a winner on Wednesday. In the event that none of you live in one of the four states I included, (which I highly doubt!), I just may have to pick someone randomly (maybe tell me where your family lives as back up, hee hee) :)
Sneak peek of one of the flowers on Gina's blog today! Can you tell what flower it is and what state it represents? (bonus entry) ;)
Looks like a dogwood! I'm from Missouri, DD lives in Colorado, and DS lives in California! Thanks for the chance to win :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in Oklahoma. I have a brother that lives in TX & one in MI. An aunt lives in KS. Can't wait to see the new set! :D
ReplyDeleteWell, I live in Western Washington. I was born here and I just can't stray...although after long stretches of rain, I get the urge to travel to warmer climates. As for my family, most of them are here, except for the my little sister, who just moved to Florida!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I saw the peek of your flowers today and they sure are cute. I don't know what they are or what state they represent, so no bonus for me :)
I'm from Germany (sooo not on your list :D), but am now in California. Can't wait for the new set to come out.
ReplyDeleteI hail from Massachusetts, born & still live here & my son lives in Rhode Island! Can't wait to see the NEW stamps!
ReplyDeleteOh I love the Stately flowers, I'm from Calhoun, KY!! Thanks for the opportunity!!
ReplyDeleteI did a little looking around and I will guess it is a Hawthorn, Missouri's state flower?

ReplyDeleteThe sneak peak looks like apple blossoms to me and although it is not our State flower, we do grow a lot of apples here. In fact my sister and husband own an orchard and HUGE apple packing plants.
Thanks for the chance. Your drawings are beautiful.
My guess is a Hawthorn for Missouri.
ReplyDeleteI'm living in Indiana but I was born and raised in Ohio and still have family there. Just returned from there from a Christmas visit. Hope you had a very Merry Christmas and a blessed new year!
ReplyDeleteI'm from Indiana, and our flower is the Peony - aka the Century Plant. I think Gina's example is a dogwood from Virginia.

I am in CA.
ReplyDeleteI was born in No. Carolina, but I also lived in Arizona, California and now live in Washington. I have family in all of these states.

I am in IL, we have family in ND, VA, FL, TX and Maine. I really don't have a good guess for the sneak peak. I think many a dogwood, which I think is the state flower of Va.

Dreaming of Springtime.......~Sandie
I'm from Elgin, TX and have no idea what the new flower is nor what state it represents. All I know is that it is beee-u-ti-ful.
ReplyDeleteI'm from Cape Cod Massachusetts....I am thinking that the states & flowers will be of the DT's states first.....so wherever you're all from! :) Got the Make A Statement set though as it was oh so cute! Merry Merry!
ReplyDeleteFor the last 8 years I have lived in Iowa. Before that I lived in Indiana for 20 years. And for my first 43 years I lived in Illinois. I told my husband we are not going to try the other "I" state, esp. at our ages.

I was born in Davenport, Iowa. My parents moved all over and I have lived in New Jersey, South Carolina, Florida, Wisconsin and California before I was married. I lived in California for over 17 years, then we moved to New Mexico, Massachusets, Texas and back to California. In 1989 we moved to Orem, UT and finally, five years ago we moved to Billings, MT. We are hoping that this will be our final move as we are in our 70s now.
ReplyDeleteI'm from the great state of Texas!
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie it looks like I am out of this one as I am from California which was in last months set. I can't wait to see this one. I hope you had a fabulous Christmas.
ReplyDeleteClever! I live in Oregon. Grew up in Florida; college in Tennessee; lived and worked in New York; retired in California; moved to Oregon - God's country - and intend to stay here...coast to coast to coast is enough!!! LOL!

ReplyDeleteHi Melanie!! Hope you had a FANTASTIC Christmas! I was born in NJ, raised in FL, and spent most of my adult life in VA, before going to MI and then MA. Is that enough info?? LOL!
ReplyDeleteI would guess that the sneak peek is of MA arbutus!
Hi Melanie!! I was born and raised in LA, followed my husband and his job to TN, AL, ME, TX, and now reside in SC! My grands live in NC and I have a brother in AR. We are rather scattered - my other son lives in Prague, Czech Republic! LOVE your stamps!!

ReplyDeleteIt's a Dogwood, I live in Virginia!!! Need Stately Flowers 2 to go with my Stately Flowers 1, you do amazing work!!!!

ReplyDeleteOk, I'm not much of a flower person but that sure looks like a Wild Prarie Rose and I'm from North Dakota, one of the states that has it as state flower so please pick me! Oh and my daughter lives in Montana, my son in Indiana, brother in MN.
ReplyDeleteDon't have a clue what flower was the sneak peek, but I know it's not the SC state flower (my birth state). I've also lived in NC, NH, CA, MI, OH, NY, and am now residing in AZ. Looking forward to seeing your Stately Flowers 2!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are all gorgeous. I've lived all my life in Missouri, so I'm hoping the sneak peak was a Hawthorne.
ReplyDeleteI see that Colorado's state flower made it into the first set. This flower looks like the Wild Prairie Rose and there are two species, one for Iowa and the leaves look like this one and the other for North Dakato. I live in Colorado and born in Nebraska. The military moved us to Ohio, Florida, Alabama and Virginia. As a child I lived in Arizona and still have family there.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to think that New Hampshire's beautiful Purple Lilac would be in your new set of Stately flowers. With Spring just around the corner, it would be a wonderful flower for my collection.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win your charming stamps.
I live in Washington State. Would love this set. Elvira
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what those flowers are I am thinking Missouri's state flower the Hawthorn.
ReplyDeleteI live in OR. but I have family in MI., Ca.,MO., TX., UT., AZ., WA. and a brother over seas fighting for our country.
reflections:0)
I am currently living in the Great state of TEXAS, althought I was born and raised in ARKANSAS, where my family still lives.
ReplyDeleteAfter looking at GinaK's sneak peek, I think it might be an apple blossom. Could be dogwood but they don't grow in tight clusters like that.
Well, Melanie, I live in ARIZONA but was born in OHIO where my extended family lives. Hugs, Sharon :o)
ReplyDeleteI'm from Wisconsin
ReplyDeleteMy guess on the flower pictured is - Viola the Illinois state flower.
ReplyDeleteI'm from Illinois.....Thanks for the chance to win! I hope I'm not to late to enter!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks again,
Geri
