Good morning, and welcome to a very special Gina K. Designs Blog Hop! We are so happy to share this new stamp set and patterned paper pack, Fight Like A Girl, designed by Gina! Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, we are kicking off the first week with this release and a full week of challenges on StampTV. Each challenge has a prize giveaway! Also, Gina will make a donation to American Cancer Society for every stamp set sold in the month of October, so don't delay! (Both products will still be available for purchase, however, after October) Please enjoy the hop and then watch for a new challenge every day in the Stamp Out Cancer Forum on Stamp TV!
Aren't these stamps super cute?
Isn't this paper yummy?
Here is a card I made with the set and the designer paper. I have some others I will be sharing during our challenges this next week more in line with the specific theme of cancer support and cancer survivors, but I wanted to show how this set has a lot of other uses, and not just in October. Thankfully, I don't really have any one close in my life at this current time (but that could change) who is battling this terrible disease. But I know about 500 people who could always use "a little something". ;)
I stamped the butterfly in GKD Black Onyx ink on this gorgeous pattern (this is probably one of my favorite patterned GKD packs to date) and stamped it again on GKD Pure Luxury White cardstock and cut out the wings only to mount over the first stamped image (no need to fussy cut antennae or long body this way). I thought the curving cut banner was perfect to go with the delicate, floating butterfly. Finish with adhesive rhinestones.
Spectrum Noir colors: PP2, DR3, DR6
Pure Luxury Cherry Red base and Black Onyx mats
More cards from me with this set later this week!

ReplyDeleteMelanie, this card is sooo beautiful. Love the vibrant colors used on the butterfly and the clever way you put the butterfly together. The banner is very clever too - I am guessing you put a foam square behind it so that it lifts up on the right?
