A woman who works with her hands is a LABORER; a woman who works with her hands and head, a CRAFTSMAN; but a woman who works with her hands, her head and her heart is an ARTIST. ~ Louis Nizer

Video: Direct to Stamp Technique
In today’s video, I will show you the direct to stamp technique (DTS), which is drawing or coloring with water-based markers directly on your stamped images before stamping. The bold frame in the Wild at Heart set with its delicate, negative details is perfect for this technique! A marker with a brush tip makes it easy to create a beautiful tapered blade of grass. Butterflies are from A Beautiful Life, also a frame set. TIP: Be sure to swipe quickly when you draw your blades, for smooth, curving arcs, as trying to go more slowly and carefully can result in a more wobbly, wonky blade.
This frame looks so beautiful on single layer cards with the outline border.
