Inspiration Hop, Day 2: The Wetlands

Today we are featuring the fabulous new set The Wetlands by Theresa Momber. What man wouldn't like a card with these gorgeous bird and outdoorsy silhouettes? Definitely one for your collection.  I am loving the Christmas Pine Pure Luxury cardstock with this mallard. I colored him with Spectrum Noir markers: GT2, JG6, EB6, BG1,LY3, and CT4. 
I also reversed the stamp on a piece of acetate to create a slight reflection on the water, and sponged in some GKD Dark Sage and GKD Ocean Mist for the water. Silhouettes are stamped in Dark Sage.  Belt and greeting are stamped in GKD Charcoal Brown.  It was hard to get a good angle to show off the dimension and shine in the photo, but I embossed the belt buckle with gold metallic powder. No embellishments needed!

I can't get enough of this belt from Triple Play Fillers as a border to go with these images! If you missed our party, this is the card that I made for the release party challenge, just one layer. Pure Luxury Ivory cardstock, Lemon Drop, Dark Chocolate and Peach Bellini inks. Easy peasy! Love these sets together!

    I can see I need to place another order. I just love this set which I did get but now I see I need your fillers just to use if only for additions to cards. Wow! That is super gorgeous and any man or person for that fact would love to get a scene card like that.

    Melanie: Although I have not kept track over the months that I have been participating in the blog hops, and everyone always does very nice work, I think that (if I had to rank order my favorites) yours would almost always be near the top of my list (along with Tricia's).
