For this next card I thought the little outdoor scene was perfect for putting in the postage frame from Stately Flowers 11! I offset the GKD double stitched rectangle die to leave room inside the postage border for the remainder of the sentiment. After cutting I stamped in my scene and sentiments. I used some of my peerless watercolor pages and a water brush to quickly color in the scene.I recessed the die cut but popping up the frame, it's a bit hard to see form the photo, but in hindsight when I make this card again I will adhere the mat to the card and pop up the die cut, but here I was wanted a peek inside rather than it standing out! two different looks! Card base is GKD Pure Luxury Grass Green.
The included cardstock panels and patterned papers in this kit are just gorgeous, but if you don't have a need for the colored ink cubes or adhesive (although you'll need more adhesive at some point, yes?! lol) you can also purchase this set NOW separately. Heads up!
First, this anchor is such a strong image, and what a wonderful sentiment! After stamping the anchor and sentiment in GKD Navy onto my mat, I cut the image out with the double stitched circle die. I wrapped some thick hemp twine around the top of the mat and inside of the cut window, and then popped up the circle with foam adhesive, offset slightly up to reveal the navy layer below. Cardstock is GKD pure Luxury Kraft, Navy, and White. Perfect guy card, and super easy!
