Day 3: "Various Verses" and "Gnome One Like You"
Good morning! Thanks for joining us on our final day of the August Inspiration hop with the Gina K Designs team! First set we have today is Tami Mayberry's "Gnome One Like You", these sentiments crack me up! hard to pick the funniest or which to use today...so I just picked a simple one that I could send to any friend (gnomie!) I really like this little gnome.
Cardstock is Pure Luxury White and Blue Raspberry, DP for the bushes and grass is Echo Park "Walk in the Park". I colored the gnome with Copics and decided the card also needed some "pleasant trees" from the new StampTV kit "Falling for You"! Scene cards are so fun to make! Normally i just use a sponge to make my skies but here I wanted a really whimsical look so I stenciled the clouds usjign bahama Blue ink over a scallop punched circle
The next set we have is the Free with Three "Various Verses", with an elegant floral silhouette and some beautiful sentiments in really fresh fonts! They'll go with everything! For this card, I inked up the flowers using Memento markers and stamped off. Next I embossed a Fancy Tag Two above it and stamped in the greeting. I sponged a little Tumbled Glass over the die and then a little Peeled Paint to the bottom.Cardstock is Pure Luxury White, and Grass Green. Ribbon is 5/8" stitched Pure Luxury and button is from the Blue Assortment. (I started out making a sympathy card so I was going for soft and subtle, but it just turned out too sweet and cheerful so this will be for something else!)
