I also love the worn, vintage botanical background she stamped with the state and flower names and individual flower petals, it is exactly what I imagined for these flowers when creating the Stately line. Christine, you are fantastic!! She really inspired me, and I will be sharing a sample with this wonderful no outline stamping and coloring technique with some more of our Gina K. images this Thursday (and I am just so so excited to share how it turned out!) :)
Some fun hops this week, one with my CardMaker team tomorrow (and a giveaway), as well as something fun and new with our Gina K. Designs illustrating team on Thursday! Can't wait!
Have a terrific day!

ReplyDeleteTOTALLY GORGEOUS!!!! OMGOSH I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome coloring. The background is gorgeous too.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done. Being from South Dakota I know what the real Pasque flowers look like. They are a subtle lavendar color but now and then you will see a darker shade of a purple hue intermixed in...much like this lovely rendition. Many times we roamed our local prairies to pick those blooms in spring.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful Melanie! I love the colors you used! Your flower just pops off your card!
ReplyDeleteYour card reminds me of Spring...and right now that is a treasure! The ribbon is perfect for the card!!!!!!
