Here is a quick card I put together with using one of those Pointed Ovals I stamped on.  Cardstock is Pure Luxury Cranberry Tart.

And because I wanted to show another card using it with Fabulous Frame, I couldn't wait to go ahead and share this Christmas card I made!  It was so fun to make the candy cane inspired pattern with the dotted border in Cherry Red ink and the stamping off technique I demonstrated above. Might have to be my next video!  The curved border was stamped first and used as a guide to stamp my rows, skipping every other dot and starting each border below the dot in the curved border and masking the bottom.  I love how it turned out.  The gold cording I used is one of the free incentives with qualifying purchase this month, a definite must for dressing up holidays cards the next several months!

Even though we stocked up for the release, Fabulous Frame sold out again on Friday, but we have more on order!  Be sure to scroll down to this post to see some tips for using just the fillers that I came up with over the weekend experimenting with the different Fabulous Frame Fillers elements.  This is just part 1 of what will be a very long tip sheet series for this set! There is so much to do with these elements on their own, so I hope you aren't too disappointed if you don't have the frame yet and really enjoy playing with the fillers in the meantime.  (Consider it a warm up for when they both finally meet and then have fun letting them "get to know each other"!) ;)

Next, I love everything about the new StampTV  The Simple Things kit!  Colors, embellishments, and of course, terrific stamps!  You get a traditional autumn set and a whimsical one in the same kit, great "two-fer"! On this card, I stamped and colored the pumpkin first, and then added my Fabulous Frame Filler elements around it in this order: 1. Oval 2. Belly bands 3. Curved border above and below 4. Photo corners 5. Straight border on side using sticky notes to mask ends.

Cardstock is Pure Luxury Ivory and Fresh Asparagus, both from kit.  I used Gina K. Chocolate Brown ink for stamping the pumpkin, all borders, photo corners and greeting, and Gina K. Fresh Asparagus ink to stamp the belly band fillers on either side.
