Hello! In today’s video, I show you how to easily transform the wintery frame from the Festive Frame stamp set into one perfect for all your fall cards by just the way you color and embellish it with one of my other popular sets, A Year of Leaves. I’ll be sharing some technique tips for masking, sponging, and watercoloring with your pads and reinkers as well.
I just love how this turned out! Without all my explanation, it is a 10 minute card! Thank you to whomever wrote recently requesting this technique, I can't remember who it was, but I enjoyed doing it. Hope it was helpful!

ReplyDeleteLove this Melanie. I just got out that frame to make Christmas cards. Now I will have to create some Autumn cards too. Thanks for posting this video.
ReplyDeleteWow! I love this card and so wonderful of you to transform it to a Autumn design. I love the soft colors too of the method you used.
ReplyDeleteThank you. This is just beautiful. I need to get my frame stamps out and play with them.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! Can't wait to try it. Thank you so much for the videos.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful and wonderful techniques . I learn so much from you.
ReplyDeleteMelanie, thank you for the amazing tutorial. I have never particularly wanted to use water coloring on my cards but your tutorial changed that. Using ink in the lid with a water brush looks so easy. Your way of changing the season on this frame is wonderful and further emphasizes how versatile the stamps are and how well they work together.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful card and a wonderful video. Thanks as always Melanie.
