Day 1: Stately Flowers 6, Lovely Ladybug, Stamp it Big

Good Morning!  The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas for our newest sets, and as you hop through their blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products!  To see the winners, check the Big News forum at Stamp TV a few days after the hops.

Starting out, we have my new Stately Flowers 6!  Since the very first month I started releasing the Stately Flowers series, ladies from all over, not just from Pennsylvania and Connecticut, have been begging me to "release the Mountain Laurel!"  (It is apparently a very beloved flower but hard to find as a stamp!)   Here it is!  This bunch of flowers will make gorgeous cascading accents around the corners of your cards and die cuts.
Cardstock is Pure Luxury White and Black Onyx.  Mountain Laurel stamped in Gina K Innocent Pink and Memento Tuxedo Black.  Image colored with Copics: RV19, R11, YG11, G17 and G99, and shadowed  with C-5.  I colored mine to look like all the Mountain Laurel photos I've seen, but of course you can make them any color you wish on your projects.

And here is another rose card I made because I just never get tired of roses, and I love peachy antique ones! Cardstock is Pure Luxury White, Ivory and Just Peachy.  I stamped the rose in Memento Espresso Truffle and colored with Copics, as well as adding the Branching Out frame to the peach layer, don't those go beautifully together?  I also added a paper doily and a few buttons from the Gina K Tickled Pink Button collection  to add to the vintage look of the card, this button assortment blends so nicely with Innocent Pink cardstock and the Just Peachy!

Next up, we have Beth Silaika's Lovely Ladybug set.  I couldn't resist making some out of the box balloons when I saw all those patterned circles! Stamp the dotted body three times in different colors.  Then ink up the bottom of one of the little triangular "fillers" that are meant to fill in the bodies below the wings and stamp at the bottom of the circle, this is perfect to make the tied ends of the balloons.  Then I drew some wavy lines with Mono Multi and added some cut pieces of bakers twineEasy peasy! Happy birthday!   Card base is Pure Luxury Powder Blue.
Next we have Carolyn King's Stamp it BIG, and I heart these big greetings! I am all about words and it will be so fun designing simple cards around these big ones!!
For today's card, I chose to make a fun and colorful collage stamped border with the small elements, (which can also be used to dot the "i", on this one I just stamped a red flower around it) on Layering Weight White cardstock.
I mixed up the different sizes of stars and flowers and embellished with some rhinestones.  Base is Pure Luxury Blue Raspberry.  (I used Memento inks on this design because I made it before all my new Gina K inks came!)

Here are the sets we are featuring today.
