Good morning! Gina K. Designs has another mini hop for you!
Just playing with some of our newest sets and loving that Spring is
in full swing! Be sure to leave a comment on each blog as you
hop through because I am giving away a Bring the Bling stamp
set.
I have gotten many requests for a card (well, a video for a card)
using my Gifts from the Sea (back in stock!), so I stamped up
one with Triple Play Frame. I got kind of literal with the
windows here, don't they work nicely as port holes? Now we're
cruising! This could be a single layer card if you prefer, with
the shells cut out and popped up, or you can stamp them directly
onto the white mat and just color instead. Base is GKD Pure
Luxury Kraft.
Begin by stamping the frame on the white mat in GKD Moonlit
Fog, then cover with the top half of the circles with the straight
edge of some scratch paper. Be sure it is running parallel to frame's
borders so your horizon doesn't look wonky! Cover with the frame
mask that has the three circles cut out,
and sponge GKD Ocean Mist ink into the bottom of each
round section for water. (Disregard theleafy stamped branch you
see, this mask has obviously been used before!)
Remove the straight edge mask, so that just the mask with the
three openings is left and lightly sponge more ink to the top section
to create a cloudy sky. Stamp the birds in Moonlit Fog in one or
more windows. Remove mask. Add stamped brads from Triple
Play Frame between the windows, and the greeting and shells.
Embellish with pearls if desired.
Here is another spotlighting card I created with Triple Play
Frame and Elegant Florals 2. I love using the frame's windows to
color different sections of these tall elegant, flowers! I masked the
orchid together to have an extra stem and fill up more of the layout.
Cardstock is GKD Pure Luxury White and Charcoal Brown.
Colored with Spectrum Noir markers: DG1, DG2, BG6, CR2,
BP6. I used the mini heart spangles that were the free with
qualifying purchase Gina offered a few months ago! Too cute!
(Using my stuff, take note, lol!)
Finally, I paired up Beth Silaika's Delicate Damask with my
Triple Play Frame images, as there are so many ways to use the
frame's small elements to jazz up the damask even more!
Super simple CAS with her border stamped in Black Onyx and
adding my butterfly (Innocent Pink) and tiny round medallions in
between.
And here I stamped the same border in Grass Green and added my
tiny flowers in Powder Blue above. Just add butterflies and pearls!
Now please enjoy ideas from a few more members of our Gina K.
Designs team! Be sure to leave a comment on each blog as you
hop through for your chance to win! Winner will be chosen
randomly from all the blogs and announced on StampTV on
Thursday.
Thanks for visiting and happy hopping! Hope it gets you stamping
today!
