A woman who works with her hands is a LABORER; a woman who works with her hands and head, a CRAFTSMAN; but a woman who works with her hands, her head and her heart is an ARTIST. ~ Louis Nizer

Remembering (and blog candy)
Sorry for the lack of posts, we have had a lot going on this week and I have been stamping my hand off getting ready for our next release! Thank you all SO much for your prayers for the fires, everyone I knew personally who had to evacuate returned to their homes, which were untouched, praise the Lord! One of which was Donna Baker and her husband, I am so, so thankful their house made it.
Please continue to pray for all the families who are in need and that Texas gets some rain SOON, and if you can, support local businesses and organizations who are contributing to the relief effort.
My heart goes out to all of you who were directly effect by 9/11, it has been on my mind all week. Remembering 10 years ago today watching the towers fall, preparing for airline travel just a few days later to go to our cousin's wedding in Washington, DC (wow, that town was shut down tight) and finding out shortly after we had finally conceived our first child (Jonathan)...
I don't have any cards I can share today, so how about some blog candy. Hope you all got a chance to check out Gina's sneak peek here, you can get a chance to win this new set by leaving a comment below with your guess of how many of my pasts sets it coordinates with. (You cans see all my sets here to help with your answer! I will announce a winner on Tuesday morning during our design team blog hop when we share cards using the new sets and have info about the release party that night.
Thanks for playing and good luck!

I'm guessing 7! Love your style and all your sets!
ReplyDeleteI am thinking it coordinates with 7 sets (Festive Frame, Pressed Flowers, A Year of Flowers, A Year of Borders, Spring Basket, Basket Blessings and Basket Buddies!)
ReplyDeleteI think that it goes with 3 sets. Mainly since I have the basket blessings and basket buddies and spring basket. Thanks for the blog candy.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess 8!
ReplyDeleteMy guess would have to be for 3 of your past sets.....although I htink I could use it with 7 of them. But 3 is my answer! :)
ReplyDeleteI am guessing 5, but I can see different ways to use most of them. What absolutely wonderful ideas you come up with!
ReplyDeleteWell this is a tough one...because I can see HOW 7 would go with it...if you did some lining up....3 that probably are purposefully designed with it....SO I guess it goes with 3 but I can see 7 you can use with it!! :-)
ReplyDeleteMelanie, so good to hear that Donna and the rest of your friends are safe.
ReplyDeleteLove the sneak peak of your new set. I'm guessing it coordinates with three of your previous releases.
Thanks for the blog candy chance.
Lisa
I am guessing a whole dozen!!
ReplyDeleteMy guess is 7. I love this new set. Glad to hear that all is well with your friends in TX.
ReplyDeleteLol- I am guessing three officially, but there are probably about 6 others that will work with this new one!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing 12 sets with alot of coloring of parts of stamps and blocking. Very versitile.
ReplyDeleteI'm saying 5 (cuold be more with masking and such as others have mentioned). Eitherway - a great stamp!
ReplyDeleteI am guessing two...Spring Basket and Basket buddies. But....you have a lot of sets that the elements of the stamp set would fit nicely in the basket. Who wouldnt love a basket full of gingerbread cookies at the holidays!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing 9 as you always seem to have a crazy idea that works.
ReplyDeleteI too am going with 3 sets. Love this stamp set as I do all of your sets!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear that Donna and the others are all safe, and that their homes were left intact. We lost our home and nearly lost my DH (he was burned over 80% of his body) when our home burned in 1980, so fires are near to my heart. As for your beautiful basket, I'm guessing that it is meant to go with 3 other sets, but I can see it going with 7, and if one stretches their imagination, why not all of them? lol...my official guess is three! Thanks for the chance to win :)
ReplyDeleteWow, another great set. You know I love your poinsettias. I think you can use it with quite a few of your sets, but I'm going to guess that it is meant to coordinate with 6 of your sets. Thanks for the chance, Mel!
ReplyDeleteI"m going to guess 6. So this makes 7. blessings to Texas!
ReplyDeleteShala
I am going to guess 4 sets--3 are the other basket sets and those poinsettias definitely go with the poinsettias in the border set.
ReplyDeleteWell, I agree, with the obvious three but I could stretch it to co-ordinate with oh so many more!!
ReplyDeleteBy looking through your sets, I would have to say 8. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess five! Thank you for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing 3 officially, but I'd say there are at least 8 or 9 others that could be used with it.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking there are at least 10 sets as there are many greetings that go well with this pretty stamp. Thank God for those who are safe from the fires and able to return home. Still praying, especially for rain!! Hugs, Sharon :o)
ReplyDeleteI am going to guess at least 7. Love all the sets though.
ReplyDeleteThank you,
Julie G
Well, I could count 10. Love your sets. =)
ReplyDeleteI am guessing 10! such as exciting..........
ReplyDeleteResume template
Well, I'm guessing "A LOT", with more to come! Great set. Thanks for the chance too!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing 3 for sure but also it could go with at least 7!! Thanks for the chance to win!! I love the things you create!!
ReplyDeleteI'm saying 8, because I could have some fun using the Fun Year Round set with this one! I agree with Ravengirls picks, too!
ReplyDelete(of course, being from FLorida originally, I could get Gifts from the Sea in there, too, but that's probably NOT what you're going for! LOL)
Hi Melanie,
ReplyDeleteI believe your newest stamp set coordinates with the 3 other basket sets. Love them all. Thanks for the chance to win.
I can see this coordinating with any set that you could put in the basket so I see 8 good possibilities but I bet a really creative person could use many more Great stamp
ReplyDeleteI am guessing that 7 sets ...will go..
ReplyDeletewell, i think i counted a dozen sets that COULD be used with the new set! but then, i have a pretty good imagination!
ReplyDeleteSo glad Donna Baker & family are safe. I can hardly believe 10 years have passed since 9/11. I was reading all about it on the newspapers on my way home Sunday.
ReplyDeleteLove the sneak peek of your new set!! Can't wait! I think the new set will coordinate with 3 other sets, i.e. Spring Basket, Basket Blessings and Basket Buddies. Have a great day & thank you for the blog candy ;)
Melanie I am going to say that I can see 9 sets that could work with it. Looks like another must have ;) I am so glad that Donna and her hubby are safe.
ReplyDeleteI think 8. Love all your sets and you inspire me!
