Although I will have more colored samples with this beautiful image, I kept today's simple and paper pieced instead so I could use Theresa's gorgeous new "Wings of Hope" digital papers. I stamped them onto the purple swirly pattern, touching up the dots around the edges with Inkssentials White Pen, and then used the same pattern but in pink for the background. Base is the new Pure Luxury Lovely Lavender, and Black Onyx, which I also used for my punched large flourish, is always the perfect dramatic contrast for soft pastels like these. With pretty patterns and a versatile stamp like this, you don't need a lot to make quick, terrific card!
Next, Theresa's new "Hang in There!" set, which is SO cute! The frog is my fave. After coloring him with Copics, (Googling "red eyed tree frog" to get their crazy markings accurate!) I traced it with a circle Nestabilities die, going around the leaves, then cutting with my scissors to have these outside the edges. I sponged on a little aqua ink before matting it on black, I love how this looks like you're spying him up in the leafy canopy with binoculars! Background is Cuttlebugged with Leafy Branch folder and sponged with a darker green ink to add depth and make the leaves pop. Card base is the Gina K Pure Luxury Lemon Drop, so fresh!
