You are going to flip when you see all the beautiful patterned labels in Nina's "Lovely labels" set that will take some of your favorite Nestabilities dies to a whole new level! here I used this large one in Labels One Die, it has a beautiful patterned border plus a curling vine up the side. This vine allows a wonderful opportunity to work in paper or stain flowers to transition into your background, or a stamped image like this one from my new "Pressed Flowers".
Aren't they beautiful together? Cardstock is Pure Luxury White and Ocean Mist, I stamped everything in aqua ink and hit the flower with a darker turquoise marker before stamping. Stamped tone on tone with the aqua background, the flowers now look embossed into the mat.
This next card I used the more masculine but still very elegant houndstooth "Lovely Labels" stamp with the Labels Eight die, inked in Tuscan Tan and then swiped with a black marker before stamping to make the stitching in the label pop out. I made the background paper using one of the flower images from the new "Spring Florals", stamping randomly again in tan and in black all over the White CS. Mats are Black Onyx. I added some white paper flowers and neutral buttons to make it a bit fancier. The greeting "Thank you" is from the new Free with Three set "Inside and Out", filled with short greetings and longer sentiments so you'll always have what you need, inside and out! A GREAT set to have, free, with the purchase of three more sets! So of course, this time, I have to show you the inside of the card! ;)
The Lovely Labels stamp set coordinates beautifully with Spellbinders Labels 1, 4, 8, and 9. Nina has also designed a new digital paper pack called Swing into Spring, which has been popping up in many samples here and there all week, that compliments the new Spring Assortment paper pack. ReplyDeleteBoth are so pretty. I especially liked the peek at the inside of the second design. Stamping on the inside of a card, like stamping the envelope, are easy additions and yet also easily forgotten.
