Blog Candy!! :)

The second publication featuring my designs is now on the newsstands, woo hoo! Please check out the July 2009 issue of CardMaker Magazine, it contains FOUR of my samples using various sets from Gina K Designs (along with many other great projects you can recreate from other designers you know and love, including my amazingly talented friend Carolyn King!*), as well as a web bonus card I made which you can find on their site! Above is a little peek of just one of the cards that made it in, using my "A Year of Flowers" and "Say it with Flowers", I loved making this and was so delighted to see how they staged it with real petals! :)

Please leave me a comment on this post with your guess about what I might be doing for my next stamp set (releasing June 25th!), I will pick one random winner to receive a signed copy of the magazine and the web bonus sheet, along with the original signed card and envelope you see above!

This candy is open until June 17, 11PM CST, winner announced the following day!

* if I run into her before I send it out, I'll ask her to sign it, too, she's just "up the road" from me! ;)

  18. CONGRATS on the publishing accomplishments. I only buy the magazine when I hear you have cards published in it.

As for your next set, I couldn't even hazard to guess, really anything you do is spectacular Mel so I know I'll Love it and NEED it. :) One of the things that makes all your sets awesome is the versatility, in todays economy (oh speaking of which I have to water that money tree before the 25th-*giggle*) having sets that as versatile as yours helps us Mel wannabes create many different things from just 1 or 2 of your sets. :)

Mentioned already is patriotic, but that is kinda close to the release I think. A patriotic one would be wonderful but really I have no clue. LOL

Cannot wait to see your next publishing endeavors.
