Butterfly

Looking at the shape of the butterfly from the Stamp TV Eclectic Summer Kit, I thought it might be fun to try to stamp the into kind of an interlocking pattern in black and white like an Escher print. (Some areas didn't meet up quite like his fractals LOL!) I then popped one up and used the colors of the rainbow to fill it in (may go back and use some of these colors in between the butterflies....)This is not a Father's Day card, but the sentiment is very appropriate :)

Hope you have a very happy Father's Day! Sneak peeks starting soon! Don't forget to check out the "Year of flowers" Blog hop from Friday's post, there are a couple more days to play ( so far we have 8, I thought it would be more like 8 HUNDRED!) I will assume you are all working on something extra special ;)

Sneak peeks start Tuesday morning for the new release!!! :)

  3. Great card! I love butterflies!

About the Blog Hop... I could use more time... I REALLY want to play but spent my crafting time (all night last night while Jess was up) making a father's day card for my honey.

I will do my best to make a card. I LOVE the Year of Flowers set and can't wait to see your newest set coming out this week. YAY!

  5. Cool card! Black & white bg with the rainbow of colors just pops the butterfly. I want to do the blog hop, if I can come up w/ anything before the deadline. I'm just not happy with my cards lately.

  8. I love the way you've put all this together! I know you think it has its flaws, but I love it. That rainbow really pops against the black and white. Now I'll have to try it!

  9. This is gorgeous. The rainbow butterfly really pops. The other butterflies in the interlocking pattern kind of look like leaves to me!
