PEEK A BOO!! Here is one of my favorite images from the new Just So Hoppy set! Perfect for Easter cards, but really sweet for any occasion. I'd never bought an Easter set before because I've found the images typically very limiting, but I wouldn't classify this as one, you'll see why very soon*! I used a Nestabilites oval to mount the image (really liking using these on spring cards since they are egg-shaped!) and a new Cuttlebug folder Birds & Swirls from Eclectic Paperie, isn't it gorgeous?! (I think it looks like he's courting the little bird!) I rubbed it with my white scraft pad to make the embossing show up a bit more. I accented the little embossed dots and the tulip (a new stemless flower in this set for you to customize!) and his ears with Cotton Candy Pink stickles from Gina K's store.
You'll also be happy(hoppy!) to know that the images from this set are a PERFECT match to make fun combinations with Just So Hippy! I had the concept for the hoppys shortly after desiging my hippy set (but BEFORE it was released) and I originally intended to have them all facing backwards! (so they'd be hippy AND hoppy!) But with these animals, I wasn't getting the look I wanted*, so I made them front facing but still a little pear-shaped (hippy)! They're all a bit more delicate than the first animals, and "prettier". I think you'll LOVE these poses, too, I worked really hard to get the feeling of motion and make them really unique from ANY other stamps you have. Tomorrow night you'll find out some special things I've thrown in that are just to die for!
Did you read on Gina k's blog that there are 24 images in this set?? We used every centimeter of rubber we possibly could to give you lots of options. This one has FOUR animals, 10 greetings, and 10 MORE images that are perfect for all your animals to hold, make backgrounds, etc. I cannot wait for you to see it ALL!!
I will also be providing a NEW TIP SHEET for this set on my blog and in the Gina K SCS forum! You will be amazed at how many things you can do with it, and you can expect all sorts of tutorials and samples demonstrating each over the coming weeks right here on my blog!
Now just f0r fun: what other two animals are in my set? (think hoppy!) what greetings? other images?? I look forward to reading your guesses!
Tomorrow I will post my CONTEST winner and hippy mentions! And maybe another PEEK!!
* Gina K did a terrific job with this latest release, you'll want them ALL BEFORE Easter, but you'll keep using them long after!
**Without a long giraffe-like neck, they were all looking a little swivel-headed Linda Blair from "The Exorcist", not good!

ReplyDeleteI get it...just so hippy and just so hoppy! Ok, we already know frog and bunny--I think you have made a kangaroo for us and the 4th is really hard to figure out! ReplyDeleteYour newest set is fab. I want to hop over to the releases party right now!
Ahhhh that bunny rabbit is soooo cute. I guess a kangaroo and a bird, I am sure whatever hoppy animals they are they will be great and a further success.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck, have fun!
I can't wait for your set to be revealed. The anticipation is killing me :) My guess is a kangaroo and ???. Thanks for making a set that can also be used with the Hippy set. I love when things have more than one use.

I can't wait....your card is sooo
ReplyDeleteadorable!!!
One guess would be a kangaroo. I know there is a frog and a rabbit but the 4th animal has me stumped. Hope I win!!
ReplyDeleteYour card is so cute. I just love this set. My guess will be Kangaroo and a Grasshopper!
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance.

I will guess a kangaroo and a frog. That bunny is so cute!!
ReplyDeleteI collect frogs, so I'm hoping frog is one of the animals. Trying to think of an hopping animal that hasn't been mentioned yet. How about a chinchilla?
ReplyDeleteOh geez, this is difficult. My first thoughts of other 'hopping' animals were a frog and a kangaroo (it took me a long time to come up with kangaroo, let me tell 'ya). Then, the first comment says grasshopper and I thought, maybe that, too. But, I'm going with my original two. I can't wait to find out. I have a feeling I'm going to be getting the free set tonight! Look out cheque-book. BTW, your card is adorable. I have only one other bunny and it's from Gina K. Designs, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess a kangaroo and maybe a frog? I can picture it! Especially if the kangaroo could complement Just so Hippy! Jeanne
ReplyDeleteHow cute!! can't wait to get this set to go with my just so hippy!! I'm going to guess that there is a bird, kangaroo, frog and bunny.
ReplyDeleteCould they be a frog and a grasshopper? These are the only two I can think of that *hop*! This rabbit is just adorable! Can't wait to see the entire set!
ReplyDeleteI definitely think there will be a kangaroo, but as for the other??? Maybe a grashopper??? Anyway, I'm sure they'll be adorable!
ReplyDeleteCute bunny! The card is gorgeous... love the soft colors... I think there's a frog... but can't think of any other animal that can hop... wait a minute... a grasshopper! Can't wait to see the set! TFS!
ReplyDeleteOh is that bunny adorable! How CUTE! Can't wait to see the rest of the set!
ReplyDeleteLove that bunny :) I've already fallen for the frog the other day ;)
ReplyDeletehmmm, perhaps a grass hopper?
and yes, a kangaroo drawn by you should be hysterical.... can't wait to SEE them!!
I bet there will be a frog. Love your last set, so I'm sure this one will be awesome too. Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your release tonight! I love what I have seen so far (Gina's frog card and your fabulous bunny card- the colors are wonderful, and I love the new CB folder).
ReplyDeleteMy guess would be that the 3rd and 4th animals would be a kangaroo and a grasshopper.
Love the bunny and froggy so far, but they need two other friends along to play. So I'll guess a Kangaroo for sure and a wombat. Ha ha! Just kidding. A kangaroo and a grasshopper, just like most everyone else has already said. Sentiments: "I hop you're feeling better soon!" Or, "Just jumping by to say hi". Or "Here's a little reminder to jump start your memory". Then on the inside of the card you can stamp "I love you", etc. Or maybe, "Oh Hoppy Day!". And of course, "Hoppy Birthday, Anniversary, Graduation", etc. Ok, that's enough taking guesses for now! Hee hee....
ReplyDeleteI know that there is a bunny and a frog on the new set. My guess for the other two are a skunk and a duck. It is fun trying to guess new stamp images! Can't wait to find out.
ReplyDeleteI saw the frog on Gina's blog (very cute!), and this bunny is great for spring. My two other "hoppy" choices are a kangaroo and a grasshopper. I would love to see a kangaroo stamp! Can't wait to see the whole set; thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteA bunny hops, A frog hops(saw that on Gina's blog), and what else hops..umm lemme guess a kangaroo?
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that this has 24 stamps!! wowza! looking forward to see the whole set!
I love your bunny!! I am a sucker for bunnies, they just make my heart melt. I have always had a thing for bunnies and ladybugs. I have a collection of both.
ReplyDeleteI am going to guess a kangaroo and a bird as the other 2 images. Whatever they are I am sure that they will be adorable!! Can't wait to see them!!
I have no idea what the other "hopper" will be, but this guy is certainly darling!!!! So very sweet!
ReplyDeleteYou're bunny is adorable! Can't wait to see the rest of the images in this set!
ReplyDeleteI am guessing a frog and a kangaroo!! I know everyone has probably already said that, but it is what I thought of automatically!!
ReplyDeletePS I tagged you over on my blog, check it out!!
Duh, we already knew frog, hoppy, hmmmmmmmm could it be a grasshopper??
ReplyDeleteHmm...frog and bunny we know. I'd go with the kangaroo idea too (can see it being hippy and oval shaped). Not so sure I can envision a "hippy" grasshopper. Don't know what the other might be though.
ReplyDeleteFor greetings "Hoppy to see you!" "Hoppy birthday" "Hop on over to my pad" "Hoppy Easter".
Can't wait for the full reveal!
Jane
I will guess...along with the bunny....
ReplyDeleteA kangaroo
A Frog
A little bird
I HAVE to have this set...sight unseen...hehehehe.
