Here's a close up of the ornament, which she colored with Sharpies, and highlighted with a coloreless blender after it dried. Doesn't it look fabulous??
And this was just a $1 ornament she picked up at Michael's, stamped with Stazon!! (Gotta go to Michael's now!)
She altered a necklace-sized jewelry box, also from Michael's, to hold the ornament. The poinsettia is colored this time with Koh-i-Noors., a red marker to add a little more depth, and Gold EP in the center. Background is done with Paisley CB folder inked with Certainly Celery for the "Negative Effect".
Here you can see she stamped out three poinsettias to create this layered look. Thanks, Theresa for sharing which leaves to color on each layer to save time! (Theresa also pointed out that the single line sentiments from both flower sets fit the word window punch!)
Well, I'M inspired now! how 'bout you? Let's go see what else she made for us today! (she peeked it to me last night and it's my favorite projects of hers yet!!)
(Thanks everyone who attended the land cruise party, I will be posting my challenges samples I made for it with details on creating them soon, please stop back by! :)
PS I have so many things to post, one of the few times there aren't enough days to put everything up that I need to instead of the other way around! RAKs I've gotten (thank you!!) , samples, tutorials, etc!! It's coming, it's coming!!
